One of the best choices for virus protection is AVG Anti-
Virus. Download AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition and follow
the on-screen instructions to install.

Click the Start button to find AVG Anti-Virus in your list
of Programs. The first time you use it, click the Check
for updates button, which downloads defences against
all the latest viruses. You should also run a complete scan
of your computer by clicking on the AVG Test Centre
and selecting Scan Computer (Fig. 4). If any viruses are
found, AVG will alert you or you can set AVG to destroy
them automatically.
For more advanced protection you should upgrade to the
full version of AVG Anti-Virus for a small fee. As with all
anti-virus software, AVG will then work in the background
protecting your computer.
