Printer Problems

Problems using a printer often happen in mixed operating system environments, when for some reason a driver is corrupted by other software installed on a computer.

The best bet, as in many other situations, is to make sure you have the latest driver for your operating system. Each computer needs the correct driver installed to access a shared printer.

If a printer does not appear in Network Neighborhood (in Windows 95/98) or My Network Places (Windows Me/2000/XP), make sure the user is logged on at the PC that is attempting to share the printer.
