Finding A Bad Network Adapter

If your drivers are current, and you can't seem to get a connection using your wireless network adapter, you might have a bad radio or other hardware malfunction.

Try using the malfunctioning wireless network adapter on a PC that has a working network connection and wireless network adapter. If you still can't get a connection on a USB model, try replacing the USB cable.

If you still can't get the adapter to function, you might need to send it back to the manufacturer. Try swapping in a working unit, however, and you'll know for sure.
